Our Passion
We know you hate the thought of your pet being lonely. The look on your pet’s face when you head out for work or on vacation can leave us feeling guilt-ridden. We get it! Houston Pet People is here to make our clients feel how we would want to feel when hiring a professional pet sitter or dog walker.
It’s not just about showing up, either. It’s showing up (rain or shine) with a smile, with passion, and with the understanding that we have the honor of caring for the very best furry friends in all of H-Town. It’s about making sure every dog walk in our care ends with a happy pup ready to take a nap after burning off all that excess energy and making sure every pet sit results in our clients coming home with their home looking better than they left it and their pet happy to welcome them!

Hi! I’m Brittany, the proud founder and owner of Houston Pet People! I’m 27 years old, married to a wonderful man named Nick, and mom to a beautiful 9 year old, Kaleigh. I’m also a dog mom to my sweet hound mix, Dallas! I was born in Houston, grew up in Sugar Land, and moved to Katy in 2020.
Animals have always been my biggest passion – I’m the girl that picks up every stray or injured animal that I find. I’ve had dogs my entire life, along with an assortment of small animals such as fish, hermit crabs, and hamsters. I look at all pets as the sweetest, most innocent little furry friends that just want to love and be loved. My goal in life is to change the world for as many animals as possible, hence my favorite saying, “Saving one animal won’t change the world, but it will change the world for that one animal.”
